Dr. Carlos Porter
Dr. Carlos Porter graduated from St. Mary's University with a Bachelors of Arts in 1987. He attended The University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio in which he obtained his Medical Degree in 1993. His post graduate training completed through The University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio Residency Program in 1996. Dr. Porter currently practices Family Medicine at the Porter Medical Associates, where he provides families with the best possible medical care.
Dr. Clay Buchanan
Dr. Clay Buchanan graduated from Amherst College with a BA in American Studies. He attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for medical school graduating in 2013 as part of a new, accelerated program geared towards Family Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Texas Tech, finishing in 2016. Dr. Buchanan, through his practice at Porter Medical Associates, strives to provide quality medical care to all ages.
Jacob Frost, PA-C
Jacob Frost is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant specializing in internal medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology and biochemistry and graduated with highest honors from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX before earning his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking, and he has a passion for helping patients to achieve both physical and mental wellness by taking an active and informed role in their healthcare.
Callie Goff, PA-C
Callie Goff is a certified Physician Assistant who grew up in Lake Jackson, TX. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2018. She later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2022. She values a collaborative approach between patients and clinicians and enjoys caring for patients throughout their life.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, reading, or hiking in the Hill Country.
Stephanie Rickerson, PA
Stephanie Rickerson is a nationally certified physician assistant. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, she went on to receive her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
PA Rickerson works under the supervision of Dr. Carlos Porter and is committed to providing the best care possible for her patients. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, DIY home renovation projects, and spending time with her husband and dog.
Elizabeth Hewitt, NP
Elizabeth Hewitt is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2016. She then went on to get her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch, graduating as a nurse practitioner in 2021. Elizabeth was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and in her spare time, enjoys attending country music concerts, Aggie football games, and game nights with her family and friends.
Katie Caruso, PA-C
Katie Caruso is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant, specializing in family medicine. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then moved to High Point, North Carolina where she attended High Point University and received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and my Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. Katie enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending time with her dog. She strives to form strong relationships with all my patients and help them achieve the best healthcare possible both physically and mentally.
Kristen Dennehy, PA-C
Kristen Dennehy is a nationally certified Physician Assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Community Health at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and a Master of Science in Biology at University of Texas at San Antonio. She went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Arizona School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. Kristen is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
Megan Oliver, PA-C
Megan Oliver earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Soon after, she proceeded to graduate with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas and promptly received certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Megan enjoys the great outdoors and traveling, but can find comfort in a good book or in listening to podcasts and audiobooks. She also loves spending time with her husband and son, while also cuddling with her two animated cats and one rambunctious Aussie.
Emmanuel Rivera is a Licensed Physical Therapist. He earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Puerto Rico: Medical Science Campus and graduated with honors. His focus is to give an excellent service and help to achieve your goals: maintaining or improving motion, improve quality of life and pain relief. Emmanuel is also bilingual, enjoys basketball, movies and collecting fragrances.
